Healthy Body Tips:
Get a physical & stay up on all of your age appropriate tests/screenings.
Take at least a multivitamin everyday.
Sleep at least 7-8 hours a night, your body needs to rest, repair, & reccop all the energy lost from the day.
Healthy Eating Tips:
Eat 5-6 small meals (including 1-2 snacks) throughout the day, to help control hunger & blood sugar.
Never skip breakfast, even if you eat something small (like toast & PB), helps to jump start your metabolism.
Start morning with a cup of warm water w/ fresh lemon; it's an easy & gentle way to cleanse the digestive system.
Drink at least 64oz of water each day, in addition to other beverages; 1/2 your body weight is preferred (i.e. 150lbs=75oz of water).
Healthy Fitness Tips:
Make your workout an appointment/meeting on your calendar, it's scheduled & you won't skip it... Also, you don't have to use the excuse "I couldn't find the time".
Remember, something is always better than nothing!
Find music that will motivate you to move.
Recruit a workout buddy, they will hold you accountable & you can motivate each other towards your fitness goals.
Eat protein within 30 min after workout, it will help promote muscle growth & repair.
