Baked Spinach Ziti

We're back, after a little hiatus with a new recipe for you...
I love cheesy baked ziti!!  Anything pasta really! I decided to take my normal yummy, cheesy baked ziti, and self soul space it a bit!

Here's my updated recipe...

Baked Spinach Ziti
serves 10, total time 60 min

Ingredients
1 lb whole wheat ziti, uncooked
4 cups spaghetti sauce
15 oz skim ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 egg
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
12+ oz fresh spinach
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese


Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook pasta according to package.
In a large bowl, stir together 1 1/2 cup of sauce, ricotta cheese, 1 1/2 mozzarella cheese, parsley, egg, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, pepper.  Then add hot pasta and spinach. In a 13x9 baking dish, spoon mixture, layering pasta mixture + a little sauce + a little cheese.  Once all pasta is in dish, top with remaining sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. cover with foil, bake for 30 min until bubbly.
